Radko has over 40 years of experience in the Energy sector. He previously worked with a major German EPC contractor and later became Senior Vice President at Macdonald Engineering Group Ltd., which was acquired by Worley in 2006. He then led business development for WorleyParsons in Europe and North Africa.

He joined VEC in 2010, later becoming Executive Director and Deputy MD, and currently serves as Advisor to the MD and Board. His experience spans Europe, USA, Canada, Middle East, North Africa, and Pacific Asia.

Afraa Al Adawi is the Projects & Operations Head at VEC Oil & Gas Consultancy, with over 13+ years of leadership experience in the oil and gas sector. She leads strategic direction across project execution, operations, and commercial performance, delivering high-impact engineering solutions for key clients including PDO and OQ.

As a PDO-approved Senior Project Engineer, she brings strong expertise in process engineering and brownfield project delivery. She has also served as Contract Holder for key client accounts including OQEP and previously OXY, overseeing contractual and commercial engagement and ensuring successful service delivery. She is recognized for building high-performing teams, optimizing operational efficiency, and consistently delivering projects with excellence and value.

A seasoned Mechanical Engineer with over 34 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specializing in piping and static equipment. He has led EPC, FEED, and detailed design projects, with strong expertise in international standards such as ASME and API.

Currently serving as Discipline Head – Mechanical, he manages multidisciplinary teams, project delivery, and technical coordination. Proficient in tools like PDMS, PDS, and CAESAR, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Senior Electrical Engineer and Head of Projects with 14+ years of experience delivering complex power and substation projects. Expertise in project leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic execution within utility environments. Proven track record in driving performance, managing risk, and delivering high-value results aligned with client and organizational goals.

Uma is currently serving as the Acting Discipline Head – Electrical, bringing 28 years of extensive experience in the electrical engineering field. She leads electrical engineering activities, ensuring high standards in design, execution, and technical compliance across projects.

With a strong background as an Electrical Design Engineer, she has delivered projects across substations, oil & gas, power plants, industrial and commercial facilities, as well as renewable energy sectors including solar and wind IPPs. Her expertise includes over 10 years in front-end engineering and detailed design, along with 5+ years in design review, engineering, and inspection.

She has hands-on experience across a wide range of voltage levels, from LV to HV and EHV systems up to 400kV, and is proficient in industry-standard tools such as ETAP, EDSA, CYME, and DIgSILENT PowerFactory (basic level)
